Forsyth Flag Football

Presented by FCDS and the Fury Club

Forsyth Flag Football is a great opportunity for students to learn the basics of football and to have fun doing so. Our coaching staff will focus each week on teaching a basic football skill (passing, throwing, catching, blocking, tackling, etc.) This league is non-contact, but we will spend time in practice teaching the basics of each fundamental football skill to ensure that players can make a smooth transition into tackle football in the seventh grade. Forsyth Flag Football will practice twice a week and play games on Saturday mornings (see practice and game schedule).

Our varsity coaching staff, along with volunteers, will work to ensure that each player gets the best possible coaching and attention. We will have six regular season games followed by our Forsyth Flag Football Tournament Day.

We will have three sections: first and second grade; third and fourth grade; and fifth and sixth grade. Each section will play in a league with their age group. This league is designed for students to learn the basics of football, have fun, and be able to compete in a flag football format.

The cost of the league is $50 for Fury Club members and $75 for non-members. Registration will start on April 1 and will end on July 5 (or when all teams are full).
