- An impressive 87 percent of our coaches are on-campus employees (up from 33 percent in 1999). The addition of more on-campus coaches has resulted in improved relationships between players and coaches; as they get to know one another outside of the athletic arena, they gain a better understanding of the “big picture.”
- Construction of the Sutton Softball Stadium, one of the finest such facilities in the state, was completed in 2009 thanks to a generous donation from a Forsyth Country Day School parent.
- The FCDS maintenance staff has constructed a four-foot-high portable scorer’s tower that will be used almost exclusively at the field hockey field.

- The trophy cases in the lobby of the CAC have been updated and aesthetically improved.
- The Fury Club continues to support the Fury Athletic Hall of Fame in conjunction with the alumni office.
- The FCDS athletic department has entered into an agreement with international athletic apparel corporation Champion. Champion uniforms, warm-ups, shoes, bags, sweatshirts, and equipment will slowly become the norm within the athletic department. The branding of FCDS athletics with Champion products makes the school and athletic department more visible in the community and beyond.
- The FCDS athletic department now supports 49 separate teams in 21 different programs. FCDS also operates year-round programs in basketball and tennis as well as a flag football league in the Fall.
