
Nick Iannuzzi ‘00

Inducted by his wrestling coach, Mr. Pat Rimron
Nick played varsity soccer, where he was PACIS All Conference in 1999-2000.
However, it was on the wrestling mat that Nick earned his highest accolades.
He garnered over 150 high school career wrestling victories, including tournament championships at:
Statesville Invitational (1998)
Christ School Invitational (and tournament MVP) 1999
MVP of the Latin Duals (2000)
He was the Team Captain his junior and senior years.
His impressive accomplishments include:
4x PACIS All-Conference in Wrestling
PACIS Conference Wrestler of the Year 1999, 2000
3x NCISAA State Champion
Most notably, Nick was a 2x High School All American, with 6th and 7th Place finishes at the Prep School Nationals his junior and senior years, becoming the school’s first 2-time All-American in Wrestling.
A “Renaissance man”, Nick was the FCDS Male Athlete of the Year in 2000, while also taking part in the high school musical that year. He maintained above a 4.0 GPA throughout his high school years and won the High School Academic Heisman Award in 2000.
Nick attended from Princeton University, where he competed for a year before injuries forced his retirement from wrestling.
He switched to crew and rowed with the Princeton crew team his junior and senior years.
He is currently in his second year of Medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill.
